Toshiba’s Apple iPhone Killer - 911T
By Will Park on Sunday, April 8th, 2007 at 7:59 pm PST In Devices, Toshiba, iPhone
Yeah, we know, Toshiba’s 911T isn’t officially shooting to be an iPhone killer. But that didn’t stop some hardcare enthusiasts from modding their 911T to iPhone killer status. Some crazy Japanese fans modded the hell out of their Toshiba 911T iPhone cloned them. And with features like a 3″ WVGA screen (800 x 480), 3.2 megapixel autofocus shooter, HSDPA, and a removable battery that’s good for more than 40 minutes, the Toshiba 911T gives the iPhone a run for its money.
So, if you love the iPhone UI but hate the paltry specs, go grab yourself a Toshiba 911T and mod it with an iPhone theme.

I dunno about locking and unlocking, I would just be happy to be able to write my own apps for the 911T (its a great and powerful phone, but apart from games the selection of software available for it is quite pitiful).
Can anyone tell me where I can get my hands on an SDK?

Don’t be an doofus, james. You know that you don’t have 911T. All of these people ‘oh I have xx phone but can;t use in india/phillipines/ etc’ are all liars. the phones does not say ‘this sim card cannot use’ it says USIM-MEP.
