Well it happened — the first iPhone update is available! It’s not exactly the major update we’ve been hoping for, rather Apple decided to release the quick Safari fix to make us browse the web more safely. According to their changelog, Safari is now updated to prevent cross-site scripting and arbitrary code execution, WebCore is fixed to deny cross-site requests, and WebKit has improved domain name validity check, as well as unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution bug fixed.

There you have it - web surfing on your iPhone is now more secure than ever. Not that the mentioned bugs actually bothered many of the iPhone users…

What good is the separate intoiPhone website if A) the iPhone news isn’t filtered out of the standard intoMobile website, and B) the intoiPhone website only has few and minor additions to what’s already being published on both sites? I understand that iPhone users are still trying to justify their purchase, but I thought that’s what the separate website was for in the first place. No?

We don’t want to filter all iPhone content out of the IntoMobile site because some of it is still relevant mobile tech news. However, not all tidbits are fit for IntoMobile.
Nevertheless, we appreciate your input
