The Nullriver iPhone Installer is an amazing tool for fans of third-party, native iPhone applications. There are just soo many useful applications and utilities that the Apple iPhone just didn’t come packaged with, it’s hard not to install every piece of native iPhone code.
The problem is, there’s only so much homescreen real estate available for all those added application icons. Short of having to install a new launcher or dock application, there’s not much else we can do to facilitate all those extra app images. Until now.
SummerBoard is a hack/overlay on top of the SpringBoard framework that the iPhone uses to display and launch the iPhone’s applications. Lg, the developer, says that SummerBoard will add scrolling and wallpaper to the homescreen.
Grab the SummerBoard app from your Installer.app and get ready for some beta love. You may have to reboot a few times before SummerBoard initializes correctly, but once it does, you’ll be able to easily access all your newly installed native iPhone application.
