iPhone displays developing bubbles - iPhone display defects leads to bubbling
By Will Park on Wednesday, February 13th, 2008 at 10:13 am PST In Announcements, Apple, Devices, iPhone
Chalk another one up on the list of iPhone quality-control problems. Apple’s support forums are lit up with users complaining of “tiny bubbles” forming in their glass displays.
The good news is that Apple is recognizing this manufacturing issue and is replacing “bubbling” iPhone on the spot - no questions asked. You gotta love Apple customer service.
Any iPhone owners experiencing display defects?

I’m gonna have to look into this, i just bought mine in january. Hopefully the newer ones aren’t affected. I really hope that they’re not swapping with refurb units.

I haven’t had any bubbles….had it for about 7 months now, but I do have the “dead strip”. Its not the top or bottom, but a line right across the middle. I can’t even push the send button to send text messages. This sucks….hopefully they will change it out. Do I just go to the apple store at the mall? I don’t know where the other nearest store is.
