TomTom readies navigation software for iPhone 3G

TomTom has GPS navigation software ready for iPHone 3GRemember when we told you that TomTom was working on a navigation software solution for the iPhone? Well, it seems that the faked picture wasn’t too far off base. With the iPhone 3G officially sporting an integrated GPS receiver, TomTom has announced that is navigation application is just about ready to give lost iPhone 3G users a heads up on their surroundings.

We’re not told when, exactly, TomTom will be releasing the software for the iPhone 3G. But, rest assured, TomTom’s “navigation system runs on the iPhone already” - at least according to a TomTom spokesperson.

    The question is, what happens when you get a phone call? According to Apple’s guidelines, apps are supposed to exit.
