XyloT3 - iPhone 3G touch-thru case

IVYSKIN has announced that it will release the touch-thru case for the iPhone 3G on July 28th. If you're not aware what IVYSKIN's case is all about, you should know it's a hard screen shell that sits over the iPhone 3G, while still enabling you to navigate the iPhone's screen.

Surface Xylo Wave (SXW) technology passes ultrasonic waves that pass over the touch screen panel and transfer them to the iPhone's screen without any interferences. When the panel is touched, a portion of the wave is absorbed. This change in the ultrasonic waves registers the position of the touch event and sends this information to the iPhone's screen for processing.

IVYSKIN's iPhone 3G XyloT3 case costs $34.99 and you can get more information on their website.

yeah this was my original choice in cases to get but when I sent them a message to ask them about the electronic current system that allows this setup and whether or not it will cause the iPhone to screw up or not work in the long run and the science behind their case, no reply was given. Makes u wonder how good a case is if it transfers electric current which could be bad for the iPhone. If they were to guarantee the proper working of the phone with their case on. Something to think about.

Well I just got my XyloT3 case and it works like magic. The screen is covered with a hard screen but I am still able to use the iPhone. Also it showcases the iPhone from the back unlike the iskin case I had for my old iPhone.
